At the funeral feast of Guru Shibu Soren, a variety of 12 dishes were served to guests, ranging from common attendees to special invitees. The menu included dal, rice, puri, potato-pointed gourd vegetable, mixed vegetables, fried fish, mutton, curd, rasgulla, gulab jamun, bundia, papad, and salad. Pickles, a favorite of Guru Shibu Soren, were also prepared. Arrangements were made for over 200,000 people, and the feast continued late into the night. Separate arrangements were made for vegetarian and non-vegetarian guests.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren personally attended the feast, interacting with VIPs, special guests, and the large number of attendees to gather feedback on the meal.
