The Southwest Monsoon has made its entry into Jharkhand, bringing with it the anticipation of rain across the state. The Meteorological Department has announced the likelihood of rainfall in all districts, with several areas expected to experience heavy downpours. The department anticipates light to moderate rainfall across most districts, with heavier rainfall predicted in southern and central regions. Thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds of 40-50 km/h are also expected in certain northern areas. On June 18th, heavy rainfall is anticipated in parts of the northeastern regions, along with thunderstorms and gusty winds in some northern districts. In Ranchi and surrounding areas, light rain was recorded in the morning, leading to a drop in temperature, which fell to 25 degrees Celsius.
