Ranchi: The state has started having a torrential heat once again. The temperature in many districts of the state has reached close to 40 degrees.
According to the information received from the Meteorological Department, there will be a lot of heat for a few more days. The heat is expected to be relieved after the southern-western monsoon is active after June 10.
The Meteorological Department on Wednesday expressed the possibility of roaring and lightning falling somewhere in the northern and adjoining central parts of the state. During the last 24 hours, the maximum rainfall in the state recorded 32.6 mm rainfall in Rajmahal in Sahebganj district. During this period, the highest maximum temperature in the state was recorded at 38.8 degrees in Godda and 18.3 degrees Celsius in Latehar, the lowest minimum temperature.
On Tuesday, the maximum temperature in Ranchi was recorded at 35.4 degrees, 38.1 in Jamshedpur, 38.4 in Daltanganj, 37.5 in Bokaro, 38.4 degrees Celsius in Chaibasa.
