In a remarkable display of administrative efficiency, a resident of Ranchi, Mr. Srikant Tiwari, saw his 13-year-long struggle for land mutation come to an end in just 10 minutes at the Janata Darbar (public grievance redressal forum) of Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri. Mr. Tiwari, a retired official from the Pollution Control Board, had been trying to get the mutation done for his 07-decimal land in Tupuudana Mouza of Namkum Anchal since 2012. After examining the documents, the Deputy Commissioner instructed the Namkum Anchal Officer over the phone to proceed with the mutation, which was completed swiftly. Overwhelmed with gratitude, Mr. Tiwari thanked Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri for their intervention.
