Devotees are flocking to the renowned Baba Baidyanath Dham in Deoghar, Jharkhand, during the holy month of Sawan. Since the temple doors opened at 4:22 AM on Tuesday, the ritual of offering holy water (Jalabhishek) has been ongoing. As of now, over 1.8 million devotees have participated in the sacred ceremony. Arrangements have been made to ensure the comfort of the devotees, including the sprinkling of cool water along the route to provide relief from the heat. The district administration has implemented comprehensive security measures, deploying numerous magistrates, police personnel, and surveillance equipment, including CCTV cameras and drones. Special teams, such as the ATS and bomb disposal squads, are also present to maintain order and security.
