Police Launch Manhunt After Gunmen Loot ₹42 Lakh and Gold from Jharkhand Bank

The robbery at Kenra Bank triggered an immediate response from Jharkhand’s law‑enforcement agencies. District SP Shubham Khandelwal, alongside DSP Sumit Kumar, coordinated a joint operation involving multiple police stations.

Investigators examined every surveillance camera inside the bank and its perimeter, extracting clear images of the five to six armed men as they fled on two motorcycles. The footage shows the suspects wearing dark raincoats, making facial identification challenging.

A thorough vehicle check has been ordered across the region, and checkpoint teams have been deployed on major routes leading out of Golmuri. Police are also urging the public to report any sightings of motorcycles matching the description provided.
