Police have posted notices at the homes of Shshikant Ji, alias Sudesh Ji, a sub-zonal commander of the extremist group Tritiya Prastuti Committee (TSPC), who carries a bounty of 10 lakh, and Mukdev Yadav, alias Tufani Ji. The notices, issued by the court, were affixed to the homes and public places on Thursday, warning them to surrender. The next action will be attachment of property.
On May 2, 2025, a clash occurred between the police and the squad of TSPC sub-zonal commander Shshikant Ji in the jungle of Sinjo Mahuvari in Tarahasi police station area. Approximately 150 to 200 rounds of bullets were exchanged from both sides. The squad, including Shshikant, fled the scene after finding themselves in a difficult situation. Besides Shshikant, the squad included Nagina, Gautam, Mukdev, and about a dozen other Naxalites.
Following the encounter, Shshikant and other Naxalites have been absconding. In the meantime, the Palamu court issued notices, which were pasted by Sub-Inspector Manindra Sharma of Tarhasi police station along with his team at Shshikant’s home in Kedal and Mukdev’s home in Sohemitar (Mantu police station) and also at public places in the village.
