In a significant move to address citizen concerns, a public grievance redressal session was organized recently, following directives from the Deputy Commissioner. Ashutosh Thakur, the Deputy Collector of the District Nazarat, presided over the event, actively listening to dozens of individuals who presented their personal and community-related issues from various parts of the district. The session focused on providing swift resolutions, with several problems being resolved on the spot. Applications received during the Darbar were promptly forwarded to the relevant authorities with clear instructions for appropriate action. Key issues addressed included land disputes, concerns related to the ‘Maiya Samman Yojana’, requests for tricycles for persons with disabilities, land mutation, health department matters, pension, ration distribution, land acquisition, drinking water, the ‘Abua Awas Yojana’, education department and school operations, and the availability of healthcare services. Thakur assured all applicants that their concerns were heard with sensitivity and seriousness, and directed officials to take immediate necessary steps.
