Ranchi to Employ Home Guards to Manage Government Liquor Shops

A significant decision has been made regarding the operation of government liquor stores in Ranchi. Home Guard personnel will now manage the liquor shops in the capital city, replacing placement agencies. The Ranchi Deputy Commissioner (DC) has issued a letter to this effect. According to available information, there are a total of 166 retail liquor stores in the Ranchi district, including 76 foreign liquor stores, 41 country liquor stores, and 49 composite liquor stores.
