Roof Escape: Grease‑Coated Burglar Flees After Waking Sleeping Woman

Security officials in Jharkhand have released details of a strange home invasion that took place in the early hours of Tuesday. A man, completely naked, with his skin covered in grease and a blue cloth tied around his head, broke into a rented house in the Mahji Tola area of Adityapur.

He forced open the bedroom door, snatched a mobile phone from the bedside table and attempted to leave. The resident woman, who was sleeping alone while her husband and child were outside, woke up as soon as she heard movement. Startled, she shouted, prompting the intruder to make a hasty retreat via a roof opening. The incident was fully recorded by a CCTV system installed nearby.
