Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel have successfully seized a significant cache of explosives, with crackers valued at Rs 23,182 being confiscated at Muri Railway Station. The operation, conducted under the leadership of Commandant Pawan Kumar, highlights the RPF’s ongoing commitment to maintaining security and preventing the illegal transport of hazardous materials. During a thorough inspection of the area surrounding Muri station and on board the train 18626 Express, officers discovered an unclaimed large white bag on Platform 1. Upon examination, the bag was found to contain a variety of firecrackers. Despite repeated announcements, no individual came forward to claim the bag. The seized items were then officially confiscated by the RPF’s flying squad, led by ASI Anil Kumar, in the presence of witnesses and securely stored at the RPF Post in Muri. This proactive measure underscores the RPF’s vigilance in ensuring passenger safety and preventing potential security threats on the railway network.
