Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and current Member of Parliament Akhilesh Yadav visited the ancestral home of Chief Minister Hemant Soren in Nemra, Ramgarh on Tuesday. He paid his respects by offering flowers at the photo of the late Dishom Guru Shibu Soren, and offered his heartfelt condolences to Chief Minister Hemant Soren, MLA Kalpana Soren, MLA Basant Soren, and other family members, offering them comfort and support.
Akhilesh Yadav met with Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s mother, Rupi Soren, and became emotional during their conversation. He told Rupi Soren that the people of Jharkhand stand with her during this time of grief, and her strength will provide power to Chief Minister Hemant Soren. The late Dishom Guru Shibu Soren dedicated his life to the welfare of the tribal, Dalit, exploited, victimized, and marginalized communities. Everyone will always be inspired by “Guruji’s” life. Although the late Dishom Guru Shibu Soren is no longer with us, his struggle, ideals, and personality will never be forgotten. “Guruji” will be remembered as an influential public leader for ages, who gave a new direction to society.
Meanwhile, the traditional Shradh rituals for the deceased Shibu Soren were performed on Tuesday, marking the eighth day. Chief Minister Hemant Soren, along with his family members, completed the Shradh rituals in accordance with traditional beliefs, praying for the peace of the departed soul.
