The Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) is grappling with a double tragedy as another medical student was found dead under mysterious circumstances within a span of just fourteen days. The deceased, identified as Dr. Sanu Sanal Barwar, was a first-year postgraduate student specializing in surgery. His sudden demise has raised serious concerns regarding the welfare and health of students at the state's largest government hospital. This incident follows closely on the heels of the tragic death of Akshit Kujur, a second-year MBBS student at the same institution, who was found dead in his hostel room just two weeks ago.
