With only six days remaining until the commencement of the Shravani Mela 2025, preparations are in their final stages across the Kanwaria Path and the entire fairground. Numerous special arrangements are being made to ensure the comfort and safety of the devotees. Work has begun to spread Ganga sand along the Kanwaria Path, from Dumma to Khijuria. This will help prevent blisters on the feet of pilgrims walking long distances. To provide relief from the heat, ‘Indra Varsha’ (artificial rain) systems are being installed at 20 locations, operating from 8 AM to 5 PM, with an ‘Indra Varsha’ unit every 400 meters. Furthermore, 206 units of toilets have been set up, and there are 82 hand pumps and water taps available along the path. Nine locations have water taps connected to tube wells to quench the thirst of the pilgrims. Repairing and painting work of the platforms on the Kanwaria Path is also in its final stages.
