    State GST certificate became mandatory for sensors

    Ranchi. An important meeting of the Jharkhand cabinet was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Hemant Soren. A total of 12 important proposals were approved in this meeting, including a proposal to amend the Jharkhand Municipality Sensor Rules.

    Now Jharkhand’s GST certificate will be necessary

    The cabinet has approved the amendment in the ‘Jharkhand Municipality Sensor Registration Rules’. Under this, it will be mandatory for the state as well as external sensors to present GST Registration Certificate of Jharkhand to participate in contracts related to the city development and housing department.

    Welfare Board formed for GHG workers

    The government has approved the formation of ‘Jharkhand Platform based Labor Welfare Board’. This board will work for the welfare of gig workers working on digital platforms like Zomato, Swiggi, Ola, Uber. Their data will be collected on online mode and welfare funds will be created for them. For this, the bill will be brought in the assembly session.

    Home Department doctors now in health department

    The cabinet has approved the doctors working in the Home Department to be subjected to the health department. His services will be transferred to the Health Department.

    Action power increased to ban illegal mining

    To prevent illegal mining, now director, mine and district level officials have been given the power to take action and fine. Earlier this right was with the state government only. Also, the Chairman of JSMDC will now be the Secretary of Mines and the post of Managing Director will be assigned to Director, Khan.

    Restoration of secondary school teachers

    Approval has been given to reinstate 35 assistant teachers of Government Girls Middle School. They were first removed from service, but according to the court order, their service will be restored or they will be given pension benefits. This will bring a financial burden of Rs 30 crore on the government.

    Reorganization in Information and Public Relations Department

    36 new posts have been created by surrendering 506 posts in the department. This will provide financial savings of 24 crore 17 lakh 9 thousand 160 rupees to the government.

    Other important decisions of the cabinet

    • Approval of Rs 59.71 crore for revised estimate of Garhwa Urban Water Supply Scheme.
    • Approval of Rs 40.39 crore for construction of 6.62 km road from Pakur-Barhwa main road to West Bengal border.
    • The posts of 85-85 teachers and 125 non-teaching personnel created for the newly constructed Engineering College (Bokaro and Godda). This will bring a financial burden of a total of Rs 41.87 crore.
