State Leaders Express Deep Sorrow Over Sudivya Sonu’s Sudden Death

Following the unexpected passing of cabinet minister Sudivya Kumar Sonu, senior officials from Jharkhand’s government conveyed heartfelt condolences on social media. Transport Minister Deepak Biruawa posted a message describing the loss as "a profound sorrow for the entire ministry" and prayed for the departed soul’s peace.

Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari also shared his grief, noting that Sonu had been battling health issues but that fate had taken a tragic turn. Both leaders emphasized Sonu’s dedication to public service and highlighted the void his death creates in the state’s governance. The minister’s body will lie in state for public viewing before a full‑state honour funeral is performed.
