In Kumang village, Tapkara police station area, a 16-year-old girl named Saraswati Kumari was stabbed to death on Saturday. According to villagers, the accused, identified as Premchand Sahu, a resident of Malgo village in the Lapung police station area, fled after the crime. Information about the incident was relayed to the 108 ambulance service. Saraswati Kumari was rushed to a referral hospital, where doctors declared her dead. Tapkara police have arrived at the scene.
