A tragic road accident in the Gumla district of Jharkhand, approximately 100 kilometers from the capital city of Ranchi, resulted in the deaths of three young men. The incident occurred on Monday night in the Palakot police station area when the motorcycle they were riding collided with a divider. The victims, identified as 25-year-old Sandeep Singh from Nathpur Panchayat’s Lelakera village, 24-year-old Banty Singh from Lawakera village, and 25-year-old Biria Oraon from Khastola village in Nathpur Panchayat, were all close friends. They were returning from the weekly market in Palakot when the accident happened. After enjoying the market and having snacks, they were riding their motorcycle at high speed when they lost control, leading to the fatal collision. Sandeep Singh and Biria Oraon died at the scene, while Banty succumbed to his injuries at the Palakot Community Health Center. Police have taken possession of the bodies and sent them for post-mortem examination. An investigation into the incident is underway.
