Koderma district’s Modern Public School has commenced its Tribal Pride Fortnight, marking the 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda. On Monday, during the school’s morning assembly, students presented a compelling drama depicting the life story of the revered tribal leader. With great enthusiasm and skill, the students showcased Birsa Munda’s journey, highlighting his significant contributions to the freedom struggle and his advocacy for tribal rights. The performance included students like Ankit Kumar, Ranvir Kumar, Sunay Shahana, Roshan Kumar, Kundan Kumar, Kimsi Kumari, Ansh Kumar, Vivhan Kumar, and Shashi Kumar, who brought his legacy to life under the guidance of teachers Sandeep Kumar and Satyabhama Thakur. This fortnight-long celebration aims to inspire students by illuminating the rich heritage of India’s tribal freedom fighters and showcasing vibrant expressions of tribal art, culture, and traditions. Various other activities are planned to further these objectives.
