Sainik School Tilaiya buzzed with energy as it hosted a national-level NCC camp, ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat – 1/25 Bihar & Jharkhand Directorate’. Under the guidance of Group Commander Brigadier S. Gopi Krishnan (SM) and the leadership of Commanding Officer Colonel Vijay Kumar (SM), the event brought together 601 NCC cadets from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, West Bengal, Bihar, and Jharkhand. The camp focused on fostering national unity, discipline, and leadership qualities among the young participants. The day began with a serene meditation session led by Brahma Kumaris Julie and Gayatri, emphasizing inner strength, positive thinking, and self-control for success. They highlighted how living each day to its fullest leads to a brighter future. A major highlight was the motivational speech by Ujjwal Anand, a Senior Division Personnel Officer. Anand inspired cadets by defining success as a result of purpose, responsibility, and hard work, stating that true strength requires dedication and sacrifice. He powerfully asserted that truth always prevails in the face of adversity, offering a fresh perspective to the attendees. Colonel Vijay Kumar expressed his gratitude to Ujjwal Anand and his team, presenting a memento. The event also included an educational visit for girl cadets to KTPS, coordinated by Officer Louis Minz. Third Officer Naveen Chaudhary expertly managed the program, while Nodal Officer Lt. Santosh Kumar ensured smooth coordination and welcomed guests, underscoring the camp’s role in realizing the ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’ vision.
