A vibrant ‘Ekta March’ (Unity March) was organized in Ramgarh to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of the Iron Man, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The procession saw enthusiastic participation from local Member of Parliament Manish Jaiswal and MLA Roshan Lal Choudhary, alongside a large contingent of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders and dedicated workers.
Under the joint banners of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and ‘Mera Bharat’, the march commenced from Ramgarh College and proceeded towards Patel Chowk. The event began with a powerful collective rendition of ‘Vande Mataram’, setting a patriotic tone for the day.
MP Manish Jaiswal highlighted Sardar Patel’s monumental contributions to nation-building and the integration of princely states into the Indian Union. He emphasized that true tribute to Patel lies in embodying his spirit of prioritizing national interest above all else. Jaiswal described Patel’s life as a testament to courage, self-confidence, and unwavering dedication to duty. MLA Roshan Lal Choudhary urged everyone present to step forward and serve the nation.
The gathering also included prominent figures such as BJP District President Praveen Mehta, Ranjan Kumar alias Kuntu Babu, Dr. Sanjay Prasad Singh, Raju Kushwaha, District Vice President Ranjan Fauji, Mahendra Prajapati, Sanjeet Kumar, Rajiv Jaiswal, Raju Chaturvedi, Vijay Jaiswal, Sanjeev Kumar Babla, and Sardar Anmol Singh, among other distinguished individuals.
