In the Lavalong forest of Chatra, Jharkhand, a young man was discovered with severe stab wounds. Rushed to a local hospital and later referred to RIMS Hospital in Ranchi, he succumbed to his injuries. The deceased, identified as Muntazir Ansari, was found to have been murdered by his girlfriend, Guljahan Parveen. Their relationship had been ongoing, and Muntazir possessed compromising photos and videos of Guljahan. When Guljahan’s family arranged her marriage to another man, Muntazir threatened to publicize the intimate content if she went through with the wedding. This blackmail led Guljahan to plan Muntazir’s murder. On Thursday, she lured him to the Bakshi forest, where she demanded he delete the explicit media. When he refused, a confrontation ensued, and Guljahan fatally stabbed him. Police investigation led to Guljahan’s arrest, where she revealed that Muntazir was already married with children, and she was trying to move on with her life.
