Kapil Dev Agrawal questions SP’s trust in constitutional bodies, defends PDA appointments

Kapil Dev Agrawal, a minister in the Yogi government, criticised the Samajwadi Party for repeatedly doubting constitutional institutions such as the Election Commission and the police. He noted that after successive defeats, the SP has raised alarms over the commission’s impartiality and the constitution itself. Agrawal also clarified that the Public Distribution System selections are based on merit and capability rather than caste considerations, and he defended the current appointment process as transparent and lawful.
