Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s vehicle has been cited for violating traffic rules seven times this year, leading to registered cases against him. The majority of these violations stem from not wearing a seatbelt. As a result, Siddaramaiah has been fined 2,500 rupees. These infractions were recorded by the Intelligent Traffic Management System (ITMS) cameras in Bangalore. Notably, all the traffic violations occurred within the last nine months. The Chief Minister has paid the total fine of 2,500 rupees. This event comes to light following the state government’s recent announcement of a 50% discount on pending traffic fines.
