Following the National Investigation Agency’s (NIA) arrest of two individuals for allegedly aiding terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack, BJP leader and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta emphasized the arrests’ importance in uncovering the terrorists’ connections and operational network. Gupta stated that the investigation will reveal crucial details about the perpetrators and their networks. He also addressed the situation in Pakistan, suggesting that if it fails to curb terrorism, it risks destruction, and highlighted the cross-border infiltration issue and internal support for terrorists. Furthermore, Gupta commented on the US strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, expressing concern about the escalation and calling for responsible action to prevent a wider conflict. He mentioned Prime Minister Modi’s discussion with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, who called for de-escalation, dialogue, and diplomacy.
