Dr. Singh explained that the project’s tendering process has been crafted to maximise benefits for local stakeholders. The hub will feature a dedicated area for Dogra food and other regional delicacies, reinforcing local culinary traditions while providing tourists with a visitor‑friendly setting.

In addition, a distinctive gateway monument will be erected at the Lakhnaur entry point, accompanied by extensive beautification works funded with more than 1.5 crore rupees. These funds will be sourced from the Member of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme and other existing resources, aiming to create an attractive entry landmark for the Jammu‑Kashmir gateway.
