These days, severe cold is continuing in the state. Due to icy winds coming from North India, cold wave occurred in most of the districts of MP on Monday. It also rained in many districts including Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Sagar. On Monday, the maximum day temperature dropped by 7 degrees. The lowest temperature of the night was recorded at 7 degrees in Rajgarh.

There was dense fog at some places and light fog at some places in the entire state. There was a huge drop in the day temperature in Bhopal. There will be fog in Bhopal, Gwalior, Sheopur, Morena, Bhind, Datia, Shivpuri, Guna, Ashoknagar, Rajgarh, Vidisha, Sehore, Raisen, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Satna, Rewa, Mauganj, Maihar, Sidhi and Singrauli.
The Meteorological Department has also predicted light rain in some districts today. There may be drizzle due to western disturbance. There are chances of rain in Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior and Ujjain divisions. And from January 17 the cold will have more impact.
