A significant development has emerged in the Meghalaya Honeymoon Murder Case involving Sonam Raghuvanshi and Raja Raghuvanshi. Sonam, who had been missing since May 23, has been located after 17 days. She was apprehended by Ghazipur Police, who allege she hired killers to murder her husband. Reports indicate that Sonam contacted her brother to inform him of her well-being. Sonam, originally from Indore, was found in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, early Monday morning. The Indore police took immediate action and traveled to Gazipur upon receiving the information. Sources indicate that she was in a dishevelled state and is now in the Sakhi One Stop Centre, a shelter for female victims of violence. Devi Singh, Sonam’s father, stated that Sonam called her brother Govind from a dhaba in Ghazipur. The police subsequently took her to the police station. He firmly refuted the allegations, stating that they are entirely false. He expressed his belief that the police are compromised and has requested a CBI investigation into how evidence near the body was collected. When questioned about how Sonam reached the dhaba, he stated that only Sonam can answer that question. The couple possessed Rs 70,000, Raja had a chain and two rings, and Sonam had a chain, bracelet, anklet, and money.
