RSS chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat visited Satna, Madhya Pradesh, to inaugurate a new building at the Meher Shah Darbar in the Baba Sindhi Camp. Addressing the gathering, he emphasized the unity of all, stating that everyone is a ‘Sanatani’ and a Hindu. He suggested that division was sown by the British. Bhagwat highlighted that despite differences in religion or language, everyone is inherently one, a Hindu. He spoke of the British, who conquered and ruled, stripping away spiritual consciousness and offering material possessions, leading to the current sense of division. He urged the audience to view themselves through a unified spiritual lens, guided by their gurus, and to embrace their own identity through language, attire, hymns, food, and places of worship. Bhagwat declared that the rightful claims would be reclaimed.
Bhagwat noted that even those who don’t identify as Hindu are sometimes recognized as such globally, which can be perplexing. He pointed out the Sindhi community’s ties to undivided India, a place where some of their belongings were taken, vowing that these would be recovered as they are rightfully theirs.
