Madhya Pradesh is rapidly emerging as a major hub for renewable energy. The state is becoming a center of attraction for multinational companies committed to green energy. These companies are keen to establish their manufacturing units here. The state government is committed to providing all possible support and encouragement to research and innovations aimed at providing electricity at affordable rates to farmers and the general public through solar energy and other alternative sources.
This was stated by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav during a courtesy meeting with Vice President of Secca Climate Foundation, Clay Stranger, and Mohit Bhargav, Senior Advisor, India Energy and Climate Center (IECC) of the University of California, Berkeley, at the Ministry. The meeting discussed objectives of cooperation and expressed a shared commitment to a clean and sustainable future.
