Multiple Spa Operators Arrested in Connection with Child Exploitation Cases

Police have taken two spa owners into custody after the Kovalam case, where a teenage girl was reportedly held and abused for months. The investigation also links a municipal health inspector to anonymous contacts under suspicion. Earlier this year, a group of men extorted money from a female employee of an Ayurvedic spa in Tiruvalla after subjecting her to sexual harassment. Four more suspects were arrested for a similar assault on a job‑seeking woman who was taken to a lodge and drugged.
