The National Conference on Holistic Development of Districts, a collaborative effort by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), the Bihar Prashasnik Sudhar Mission Society, and the General Administration Department of the Government of Bihar, convened in Patna. The conference brought together over 200 delegates, including senior policymakers and district magistrates, to discuss scalable governance models and district-level transformation. Technical sessions highlighted award-winning initiatives from various states, including Bihar’s digital transformation and water conservation efforts. Speakers emphasized the importance of district-level administration in achieving impactful public service delivery. Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh praised Bihar’s governance models, while Deputy Chief Minister Shri Samrat Chaudhary reflected on Bihar’s infrastructure development. The conference also featured presentations on Bihar’s local models of reform and showcased the state’s commitment to inclusive development.
