Three new Amrit Bharat Express trains are set to commence service in Bihar, bolstering the region’s transportation infrastructure. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced the launch of these trains, with seven trains in total originating from Patna Junction starting today, September 30th. The Union Minister will officially inaugurate the trains on Monday via video conferencing. These new Amrit Bharat Express services are being introduced as a significant initiative for the people of Bihar, coinciding with Diwali and the upcoming assembly elections. The routes for these trains include Muzaffarpur to Charlapalli (near Hyderabad), Darbhanga to Madar Junction (near Ajmer), and Chhapra to Anand Vihar Terminal (Delhi). The Muzaffarpur–Charlapalli Express marks the first Amrit Bharat service to South India, while the Chhapra–Anand Vihar Express becomes the sixth such connection to the national capital.
