New Portal Simplifies PM Shri Air Ambulance in MP

Madhya Pradesh has taken a major step toward making emergency air medical services more accessible by unveiling the Air Ambulance MP portal and companion mobile app. The announcement came during an official event at the state secretariat where Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla highlighted the government’s commitment to saving lives through faster medical intervention. The platform offers live aircraft tracking, seamless digital request processing, and automated alerts that help doctors and administrators act within critical time windows. Patients in remote districts who previously struggled to arrange rapid transfers can now initiate requests through a simple online interface. To date, the service has safely transported 140 patients facing life-threatening conditions. Free rides are provided to Ayushman cardholders and low-income families, removing both geographic and economic barriers. Continuous readiness is maintained by a round-the-clock control room equipped with a Beechcraft King Air C-90 plane and an AW-109 helicopter stationed in Bhopal.
