Noida Authorities Recover 15 Motorcycles, Including 14 Stolen, in Graft Crackdown

NOIDA, August 5 – In a decisive anti‑theft sweep, Noida’s Sector‑113 police confiscated fifteen motorcycles from a notorious bike‑theft ring operating in the city’s Sector‑73 corridor. The haul comprised fourteen motorcycles identified as stolen, one additional two‑wheeler used in the criminal acts, and an illegal knife seized during the raid on August 4.

The operation culminated in the arrest of three alleged offenders – Ankit Raghav, son of Devendra; Kaushal, son of Joginder Singh; and Amit, son of Jaypal – all of whom reside in Gram Sarfabad but trace their roots to distinct villages in Aligarh district. Police reports detail that the trio used their own bikes to conduct reconnaissance around high‑traffic zones, targeting parked motorcycles near popular restaurants, retail hubs, and stores such as Jepto and BlinkIT.

After lifting the vehicles, the suspects would conceal the stolen bikes in isolated locations to avoid immediate detection, later selling them at discounted rates to recover quickly. The recovered motorcycles are now being matched with their legitimate owners, and the police are working to restore the bikes to the victims.

Both the accused and their criminal histories were examined, revealing prior theft charges lodged at Delhi’s Sarita Vihar, Noida’s Face‑3, and Sector‑113 police stations. The ongoing investigation aims to uncover any further offenses linked to the gang and identify additional buyers of the stolen two‑wheelers.

The Noida police reiterated their commitment to pursuing motorbike theft networks and called on citizens to employ security locks, park in well‑lit areas, and promptly report any suspicious observations to help curb such criminal activity.
