Security forces concluded Operation Mahadev with the elimination of three foreign terrorists involved in the brutal killing of 26 civilians in Pahalgam. The operation took place at Mahadev Top, a site revered by Kashmiri Hindus. The terrorists, Suleiman alias Hashim Musa, Yasir, and Abu Hamza Afghani, were linked to The Resistance Front (TRF), a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) shadow organization. Suleiman, a Pakistani national, was the mastermind behind the Pahalgam attack. The operation followed a 95-day manhunt, with forces utilizing advanced intelligence techniques. The success underscores the commitment to eradicating terror and restoring peace in the region. The terrorists were also involved in attacks on the Sonmarg z-Morh tunnel and army personnel in Botapathri Gulmarg.
