After the precision strike campaign dubbed Operation Sindoor, which neutralised terrorist headquarters on Pakistan’s mainland without collateral damage, foreign air forces have shown keen interest in training with the IAF. The Indian Air Force’s schedule now includes four major multinational engagements: Pitch Black in Australia, Udara Shakti with Malaysia, Veer Guardian with Japan, and the flagship Tarang Shakti 2.0 in Jodhpur. The 2024 edition of Tarang Shakti was split between Sulur in Tamil Nadu and Jodhpur, featuring aircraft such as Rafale, Eurofighter Typhoon, F‑16, EA‑18G Growler, and the US A‑10, alongside refuelers and early‑warning platforms.
