In this, the commission presented its side and warned the opposition parties not to engage in politics by using them as a shield.
Now, opposition political parties have expressed their displeasure over this matter. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge mentioned the possibility of an impeachment motion against the CEC during the India bloc meeting. A proposal has also been brought up in the meeting regarding this. However, a final decision on this has not yet been made.
