Trump, in a separate post on Truth Social, also mentioned the call, wishing PM Modi a happy birthday and praising his leadership. Trump further thanked Modi for his support in ending the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Earlier in the week, both nations signaled their readiness to move forward with a long-awaited trade agreement. Trump expressed his pleasure with the ongoing discussions aimed at resolving trade barriers, calling PM Modi a “very good friend” and anticipating a positive outcome for both countries.
