Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Kolkata on Sunday following a visit to Assam. His schedule includes inaugurating and addressing the 16th Combined Commanders’ Conference-2025 at Fort William, the Eastern Command headquarters of the Army, in West Bengal. Later in the day, the Prime Minister will travel to Bihar, where he will launch numerous projects in Purnea, valued at Rs 36,000 crore. This will include the inauguration of the National Makhana Board and the opening of an airport in Purnea, a district where the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) seeks to strengthen its electoral presence.
