Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the 16th Joint Commanders Conference-2025 at Fort William, the headquarters of the Eastern Command of the army in Kolkata. Senior officers from all three branches of the armed forces will be present. Furthermore, the Prime Minister will travel to Bihar today to inaugurate the Purnia Airport and launch projects worth approximately 40,000 crore rupees. Simultaneously, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will be on a visit to Punjab. During this visit, he will tour the flood-affected areas to assess the situation and listen to the concerns of the affected families. The Supreme Court will deliver an interim decision today on three main issues related to the amended Waqf Act, including the power to denotify properties declared as ‘Waqf by Courts, Waqf-by-User, or Waqf by Deed’ by the courts.
