Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Gaya, Bihar, where he will inaugurate six projects and lay the foundation stones for eight others. The combined value of these projects amounts to Rs 13,000 crore. The visit, planned for Friday, August 22nd, aims to bolster development in the region, focusing on enhanced commerce, improved connectivity, and an improved quality of life for residents. The Prime Minister will inaugurate the six-lane Aunta-Simaria bridge, the first of its kind in the state, spanning the Ganges river. The project portfolio encompasses various initiatives including the four-lane Bakhtiyarpur-Mokama section of NH 31, the Buxar Thermal Power Plant, the Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, and sewerage network and STP projects in Munger. Additionally, the inauguration will include the two-lane Bikramganj-Dawath-Nawanagar-Dumrao road, and the flagging off of the Amrit Bharat train and a dedicated train connecting the Buddhist circuit.
