Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the centenary celebrations of the RSS on Wednesday as the chief guest. During the event held at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre in Delhi, PM Modi released a special postal stamp and a commemorative coin. The Prime Minister highlighted the features of both the stamp and the coin. He stated that the 100-rupee coin features the national emblem on one side and an image of Bharat Mata with a lion, alongside RSS volunteers offering their respects on the other. PM Modi noted that this marks the first time in independent India’s history that Bharat Mata’s image has appeared on Indian currency.
