Police Bust Fake Advocate Operation at Surajpur Court, Seize Bogus Papers

In a coordinated raid, Greater Noida police dismantled a fraudulent legal service operating out of Surajpur Court. The individual, named Veer Singh Sisodia, was apprehended near gate‑2 after local intelligence tipped off officials. Seized items included three counterfeit advocate/notary stamps, a collection of forged court documents, and five official‑looking case files. According to investigators, the suspect masqueraded as a licensed lawyer, promising bail and case management to litigants unfamiliar with the legal system. He would then fabricate paperwork, affix the fake seal and demand large payments, effectively running a money‑making racket. The police have taken custody of the forged documents and are conducting forensic analysis to trace the extent of the fraud. The accused has a history of criminal proceedings, with a 2017 IPC case and a 2026 Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita case already on record. Officials urge the public to verify any lawyer’s credentials through the Bar Council and to report suspicious solicitations to prevent further exploitation.
