Political Leaders Praise Federal Cooperation After 13,000 Crore Projects Launch

The launch of development projects exceeding 13,000 crore rupees in Chennai brought together Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay on a single stage. The event was hailed by regional politicians as a showcase of effective centre‑state partnership.

Kasturi, a prominent BJP figure and film actress, highlighted that Tamil Nadu enjoys the Prime Minister’s personal backing, a rare advantage for a state ruled by an opposition party. She suggested that the Chief Minister should conduct a detailed audit of the state's outstanding financial commitments before further disbursements.

TVK leader Dr. M. Satyanarayana praised the Chief Minister’s administration for its transparency and swift action, noting that citizens now see tangible progress without the need for private lobbying, unlike previous governments.

The ceremony concluded with both leaders reaffirming their belief in federal cooperation and the necessity of additional fiscal resources to build a resilient and prosperous Tamil Nadu.
