Prime Minister highlights AI push at IIT Delhi graduation

During the IIT Delhi convocation on August 8, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the graduating class of over 3,000 scholars, emphasizing the nation’s drive toward artificial intelligence and advanced computing. The speech will recognise the achievements of 587 PhD awardees and will include the presentation of several prestigious medals such as the President’s Gold Medal and the Director’s Gold Medal. The ceremony will also mark the launch of the AI‑powered supercomputing hub “Param Pragya,” which aims to strengthen IIT Delhi’s capability in AI, data analytics, and interdisciplinary research.
