Public Focus Over Politics, Rajak Tells Gandhi

Patna, Nov 4 – JD(U) National General Secretary Shyam Rajak has issued a clear message to political leaders regarding the priority of public service over political theater. His remarks came in response to Rahul Gandhi’s recent invitation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for an open public debate.

Rajak stated that Gandhi should redirect his energy toward grassroots engagement. Instead of staging political confrontations, the Leader of the Opposition should immerse himself in community work and address the genuine hardships faced by the public. He added that the competitive nature of such debates is not exclusive to Gandhi, as even a junior NDA cadre would readily accept the challenge and perform just as well.

While criticizing opposition tactics, Rajak reaffirmed that Prime Minister Modi’s focus remains steadfastly on economic growth and infrastructure development. He argued that political declarations often overshadow practical governance, urging opposition figures to shift their attention to actionable solutions for citizens.

On the security front, Rajak commended the Central Reserve Police Force for its outstanding performance. On the CRPF’s 47th anniversary, he celebrated the unit’s unprecedented twelve-month streak of zero operational casualties. He explained that this achievement stems from rigorous planning, the integration of cutting-edge technology, and the adoption of modern defense strategies that prioritize personnel safety.

Recognizing the CRPF as a cornerstone of India’s internal security, Rajak lauded the dedication of every officer and commando. He viewed their casualty-free service as a major victory for national defense.

Nevertheless, Rajak highlighted critical issues regarding public administration. He expressed unease over a recent police firing incident in Madhubani involving an ASI and local villagers. He cautioned that such episodes systematically weaken public faith in state machinery. To prevent further alienation, he advocated for structured training modules that educate government functionaries in social responsibility and cultural etiquette, fostering better official-citizen interactions.
