Punjab’s Chief Minister, Bhagwant Mann, has been admitted to Fortis Hospital following a decline in his health. Mann had been feeling unwell for several days and was initially advised to rest at home. However, his condition worsened on Friday, leading doctors to recommend hospitalization for treatment. Former Delhi CM and AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal visited Mann at his residence on September 4 to inquire about his health. Meanwhile, Congress MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira questioned why the Chief Minister was not taken to the Aam Aadmi Clinic in Mohali, a facility that the AAP government has promoted as having superior health services. Amidst ongoing severe flooding in Punjab, Chief Minister Mann had recently announced the appointment of a gazetted officer for each village to facilitate communication between the administration and residents affected by the floods.
