Punjab Police Arrests IT Entrepreneur in Amritsar Rape Case

In a significant development, Punjab Police have taken into custody a young entrepreneur running an IT firm in Mohali for allegedly abducting and raping a woman in Amritsar. The complaint was first filed by the victim's father citing false marriage promises, but during interrogation police added rape sections to the FIR. After securing initial remand, the accused has now been placed in judicial custody.
