Puri Police has released a comprehensive traffic advisory in anticipation of the Devasnana Purnima on June 11, 2025. This significant event, which draws a large number of devotees to witness the Lord’s bathing ritual, has prompted detailed planning to ensure smooth traffic flow. Restrictions will be in place, especially for four-wheelers, to manage congestion. From Brahmagiri, light motor vehicles (LMVs) will be diverted towards Sterling Chhak and then to Beach Road. Vehicles from Bhubaneswar will be directed to parking areas via specific routes, with overflow parking options available. Those arriving from Konark will follow a separate route to designated parking. Two-wheelers will have access to Grand Road with parking at Municipality Market complex and alternative parking options. Three-wheelers will also have specific routes and restrictions, with detailed guidance on passenger drop-off and restricted zones near the temple and Lion’s Gate.
